Our mission at the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) is to ensure our Army is always able to face the rigor of full-spectrum operations. We can respond to emerging requirements and operational needs quickly. Many times within only a few months, we can contract for,
produce and field products that save lives.
Currently, we are fielding trainers to support the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. We are doing this as a team working with the Army Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center and Red River Army Depot. In this case, and in many others, we are leveraging Army expertise by offering an Army solution to an Army requirement.
We are only one element of the Army’s acquisition team. Together we are the enterprise that supports the Army Force Generation process and ensures that the materiel solutions we provide our soldiers are superior in every respect.
