GRACE M. BOCHENEK

My proudest moment came in October when the Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center received four Secretary of the Army-level awards for collaborative excellence.
For more than 60 years, TARDEC scientists, engineers and technicians have researched, developed, engineered and integrated technology solutions that give our soldiers a decisive battlefield edge. I am proud to be a part of this great American automotive legacy, but am humbled by the opportunity to lead a workforce of such passionate, dedicated, skilled and innovative people.
As TARDEC enters the third year of a crucial strategic transformation, we are turning the bend on successfully achieving our corporate and professional goals, and we have done this while supporting a nation at war and building a coalition of technology partners from government, industry and academia.
As a team, TARDEC has cultivated an organizational climate that thrives on delivering innovative engineering and technology solutions to soldiers. More specifically, our workforce has successfully leveraged its collective skills, abilities and robust systems engineering and integration experience to deliver unprecedented technology solutions for more than 2,800 soldier systems. We are committed to continuously raising the bar.
