Monthly annuity deduction
March 11th, 2011 | Medicare
Q: I am a retired federal employee and receive an annuity. I pay for my Medicare Part B quarterly. I would like to have this cost deducted monthly from my annuity. Is there a form to do this? If so, where can I get this form?
A: To arrange for this change, call the Medicare Administration at 1-800-633-4227 and talk to a benefits specialist.

July 27th, 2011 at 8:30 pmhttp://www.opm.gov/retire/related/medicare/index.asp The information that you provided to have Medicare premiums withheld from federal annuities is incorrect. OPM cannot start, stop, change or refund a Medicare premium. Please DO NOT refer readers to OPM. They need to contact Medicare. Form SSA-795 might be required.
